T. Chanel "Koi" Bagnerise
Koi Bagnerise is armed and educated with a double major degree, specializing in English and psychology. She is a published writer, professional public speaker, self-help group developer/facilitator, and a "walking good vibe." Mental health wellness is her passion alongside advocacy, which is her purpose. She is a contemporary art enthusiast, an avid psychological thriller reader, herbal tea obsessed, a humanitarian, and health conscious and pescatarian. She is born of stardust and magic, illuminating the darkest night's sky. She possesses a poet's heart and a philosopher's mind.

Joshua Ballesteros
Joshua Moses Hellon is a veteran and a facilitator of several groups empowering change. He is an accomplished mediator focused on conflict resolution. He's passionate about fostering change and sending assets back into the community. He holds the belief that the fabric of our community as a whole is stronger when restoration is the focus for all.

Patricia Bellows
Patricia Bellows is a 36 year old beating a double life sentence real soon. She has conquered mastering the power of the tongue. She has a strong will to be successful in everything she studies and lives. She is from the gang land of Compton and growing on a daily basis from self hatred. She is strongly in love with her big homie and rocking by him by any means necessary.

Maurice "Rahim" Bradshaw
Maurice "Rahim" Bradshaw is a certified carpenter and an aspiring actor with the Marin Shakespeare Company. He was born in 1980 and raised in Oklahoma, Texas, and California. He is a proud father of six, and grandfather of four. His main goal is to strengthen the communities he helped destroy. For the last decade, he's been striving to be a better version of who he was yesterday.

Michael Callahan
Michael Callahan is a husband of 17 years to a beautiful, supportive and faithful wife, and a father to three handsome boys — all of whom live in Southern California. He is dedicated to his recovery, and spreads the message of the realities and dangers of driving under the influence. He serves in the church, and works for San Quentin News as a layout designer and staff writer. His inspiration comes from serving his community and providing a voice for the incarcerated. Early next year, he'll be graduating with an associates degree in Business, Sociology, and Social Sciences.

Daniel Cowie
Daniel Anthony Cowie is a 2025 graduate of the groundbreaking Peer Support Specialist Program at Solano State Prison. He is excited to add Uncuffed to his resume as a participant of its 2025 cohort at Solano. He is committed to uplifting, encouraging and inspiring those around him, and believes that education with application is the only way to give birth to transformation. Born and raised in Paramount, California, Daniel has been a devoted soldier of Christ since 2021.

André Davis
André Davis is an audio journalism student in the Uncuffed Program at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center. He's also a GRIP training facilitator, MTC student, a husband, a father, a loyal friend, and a pro-social advocate for change. He's a reformed incarcerated person who loves his family, friends, and continues to lead by example by being of service to his community.

Derrell "Sadiq" Davis
Derrell "Sadiq" Davis is a multimedia journalist. He's a sound-designer and co-producer for Ear Hustle. He is a videographer for San Quentin's video department, and the host of his own TV cooking show called "Cooking with Sadiq." He's also a tour guide who serves as an ambassador to outside visitors who come and visit San Quentin. On the tours, he looks to change the perception of how society views the incarcerated population.

Fonuamana Fuahala
Fonuamana Fuahala is a leader in San Quentin's Native Hawaiian Religious Group. He is passionate about preserving culture and promoting cultural identity. He serves his community as a member of the Incarcerated Person Advisory Council and by facilitating a class about restorative justice. He's deeply devoted to his Christian faith and minsters to the population at San Quentin.

Julie Harper
Julie Harper is a graduate of the University of Southern California, with honors, and holds a masters in business administration (MBA). She is a leader, media-maker, entrepreneur, and event speaker. She has worked in diverse industries in the corporate world and her own companies: as a director of communications for a technology service company, creating digital training and marketing materials through a partner relationship management system; as a VP of marketing and sales, launching a business education software company; and as a real estate broker and CA notary -- all while raising her young children. In her 20s, she traveled to numerous countries across six continents and obtained her PADI certification for scuba diving, both passions she hopes to return to. Today her vision includes being a storyteller, producing documentaries and podcasts, empowering women and young girls, as well as being an activist to change policy in the criminal justice system for first time violent offenders who are survivors of intimate partner violence, to help them recover from PTSD instead of re-traumatizing them.

Jorge Lopez
Jorge Lopez hails from Sacramento, California, the city that lights the beam! He holds an associates degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Palo Verde Community College. He works as a youth offender mentor helping youth navigate the prison system, while encouraging rehabilitation. He also volunteers his time as a San Quentin tour guide, as well a puppy raiser for Canine Companions.

Daphnye Luster
Daphnye Luster is a sociology undergraduate at Feather River College, where she is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. She has a legal assistant/paralegal certificate through Blackstone Career Institute, and completed the Last Mile audio production course. Luster gives back to her community by sharing her knowledge with others about how to make positive decisions as a GOGI coach. Her passion is to take her GOGI skills to her community, in hopes of exposing youth to the Getting Out by Going In life tools, and stopping the school-to-prison pipeline.

Keyna Osorio
Keyna Osorio is a political science graduate at Chico State University, where she interned for the Community Legal Information Center (CLIC), specializing in disability law. Since 2024, she has been actively involved in The Last Mile audio video production program, where she recently graduated the audio portion of the program. She is also an entrepreneur in training with Defy Ventures, pursuing an entrepreneur degree from Claremont Graduate University. She is dedicated to becoming the best version of herself.

Ryan Pagan
Ryan C. Pagan is a storyteller and multimedia producer raised in Riverside, California. He is currently the Program Lead of Forward This Productions at San Quentin. Ryan believes in changing society's perceptions of incarcerated people, and works to provide opportunities to at-risk youth. He is Uncuffed’s Inside Facilitator at San Quentin

Little John Perry
Little John Perry, also known as “BJ,” is a graduate of the Uncuffed Playlist program. He also contributed to the self-help book “Hustle Guide” for the self-help program “Hustle 2.0.” BJ prioritizes trying to give back to kids and teens as much as he can.

Saladin Rushdan
Saladin Rushdan is a veteran, a graduate of the Uncuffed Playlist DJ program at Solano State Prison, and also completed “Defy Ventures,” an entrepreneurial program for people in prison that teaches business skills, entrepreneurship and character development. Saladin is a devout Muslim. He is passionate about trying to influence others to dictate their environment instead of allowing the environment to dictate them.

Matthew Sheppard
Matt Sheppard is a screenwriter and comedian. He is a certified GOGI coach and lead facilitator for AVP (Alternatives to Violence Project). He is the co-founder of Trendsetters, a self-help group aimed to change the culture of prisons. Matt is also an international best selling author for his contribution to Journeys to Success Vol. 7, and he teaches the success principles of Napoleon Hill. He currently writes, directs, and edits for San Quentin Television.

Haena Worthing
Haena Worthing is a devoted mother and life long learner. She is a graduate of UCLA, with extensive experience building businesses and event production. She has served as a leader and mentor during her incarceration and is committed to her recovery and positive change. She believes in kindness, giving back to her community, and advocating for herself and others.
